With the new version, you can create multiple categories for checklists without being limited to onboarding and offboarding checklists such as To-Do Checklists, Training Checklists, Task Checklists, etc.
Before starting, make sure you have access to Checklists Settings. If not, please contact your Admin to request permissions.
Create a Category
Navigate to Checklist > Settings > Template Categories
Click Create Category
Enter a name
Edit a Category
Navigate to Checklist > Settings > Template Categories
Select a Category you want and click on the pencil icon to edit
Update information
Click Save
Delete a Category
Navigate to Checklist > Settings > Template Categories
Select a Category you want and click on the trash icon
Confirm your action.
📌 Note: Category assigned to checklist templates cannot be deleted. Make sure to transfer or remove them from checklist templates in advance, or you will receive this error message:
