An employee ID is a unique type of identification assigned to an employee. So it’s expected that no two employees should have the same employee ID.
Depending on the configuration of your access role, you may or may not have access to this feature. Please check with your Admin for access control.
Click the Gear ⚙️ icon on your navigation bar > Manage Fields
Click on Employment Information and turn on Autogenerate ID
Set your ID Pattern:
Preview your employee ID and click Start Generating to apply.
📌 Note:
Auto-generated ID will start to apply from the next created employee
Minimum Digit of Suffix must be greater than 0 and smaller than or equal to 10)
💡Tips: When you add a new employee, you can find his automatically generated employee id in his profile.
