Depending on the configuration of your access role, you may or may not have access to this feature. Please check with your Admin for access control.
Set up Location, Currency
The Grove HR’s India Payroll Compliance is designed to comply with the current law and regulations of India. Therefore, the system defaults the location to India and the currency to INR.
Set up Base day for payroll calculation
⛔️ Important: You can only choose the field Calculate Monthly Salary Based On once during the setup. Please make sure you select the right option before saving.
Go to Payroll > Settings
Click General to configure the fields “Calculate Monthly Salary Based On”. This field is used to calculate prorate salaries for employees who join in the middle of your payroll cycle
Actual calendar days
Actual working days
Fixed days: 20 days, 21 days, 22 days, 23 days, etc.
Click Save to confirm.
📌 Note: If you do not click “Save" the system will not apply your settings.
