1. How long is the trial?

We offer a 14-day free trial. During the trial, you get access to all features on our highest value plan - i.e., Engage Plan. No card is required.

2. Will I be charged automatically at the end of the 14-day free trial?

No. At the end of your trial, you can continue with our free plan, or you can upgrade to any of our paid plans (Essentials, Perform, or Engage), depending on your needs.

3. What are the available payment methods?

You can use both debit and credit cards. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and JCB payments worldwide.

4. How does my billing work?

Grove HR is a pay-as-you-go service. For the first payment, you will be charged based on the number of employees that you define at the beginning. As you go, the recurring payments will automatically be processed based on the number of employees who can log into Grove HR.

5. What happens if I add more employees than my initial subscription?

If the number of employees increases during the annual billing period, we will add additional fees on the same billing day next month. The fee will be charged based on the additional number of employees, calculated based on the months left until the end of the billing cycle.

6. How can I upgrade my plan/billing cycle?

You can upgrade your plan or change the billing cycle at any time. If you subscribe to an annually billed plan, you will only be charged for the difference between the pricing plans based on the number of months left until the end of your current billing cycle. However, we cannot make a refund if you are on a monthly billed plan. Please note that you cannot downgrade the plan and your billing cycle.

7. Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we have various discounts every once in a while.

8. Does Grove HR provide invoices and receipts?

Yes, we send the invoices and receipts for each successful payment.

9. What happens if the first payment fails?

You will continue to use Essentials. After that, the tenant still starts a new payment for the subscription.

10. What happens if a recurring payment fails?

Stripe will send an email to inform you about the failed payment and automatically retry up to 8 times within 1 month. If all retries fail, the subscription will be canceled immediately on Stripe and back to Essentials.

11. What is Grove HR's cancellation and refund policy?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Once you cancel your subscription, you can still use the features of your current plan until the end of the billing cycle, and you won’t be charged further. Please understand we’re unable to offer prorated refunds. If you've canceled during your free trial, you have not and will not be charged.

12. Do Grove HR prices include tax (VAT)? If so, can you issue a VAT invoice?

No, Grove HR prices are excluded tax (VAT). As a US-based company, we are only able to issue regular invoices. You can refer to the sample invoice template that we will issue to our customers.
