After creating a Questionnaire and Review Template, it's time to launch your Performance Review.
Launch a Performance Review
Only authorized people with access to the Manage Review tab can launch, view, and manage performance reviews. Please check with your Admin about your role's accessibilities.
Step 1: Select Template
Navigate to Performance > Manage Review
Click + Launch Review to start
Give it a name and describe when it can be used
Select a review template. You can also view available templates at this step.
Click Next
Step 2: Set Timeline
Set a review period
Select the review period of each component:
Self Review: Employees perform their own self-assessments
Manager Review: Managers assess employees and provide summaries
Peer selection: Managers select who can give peer reviews*
Peer Review: Selected employees review their peers
Click Launch to start.
After a performance review is launched, the selected participants will receive email notifications on the start dates to complete the review.
๐ก Tips:
The performance review will begin on the earliest start date and end on the latest due date, depending on the timeline of components (Self Review, Manager Review, Peer Review).
Example:
The Self Review schedules to start on 20 Sep 2023 and end on 25 Sep 2023
The Manager Review schedules to start on 20 Sep 2023 and end on 30 Sep 2023
=> Performance Review will begin on 20 Sep 2023 and end on 30 Sep 2023.
๐ Note:
For Project-Based review, Project Managers can only choose peers from the Team Members.
Step 3: Select Employees
Moderator: users who can calibrate the manager review. This is a new role available beginning from the April release.
Reviewees: Depending on the type of your Review Template (Org Chart based or Project-based), you will see different options for Reviewees:
For Org Chart based review, there are 3 options:
All Employees: all employees are required to participate. If you want to exclude an employee, please add them in the Except Employees box
Specific Employees: only chosen employees will participate in the review
Employee Groups: a pre-defined group of employees chosen to participate in the review.

For Project-based review, you must determine the Project Manager and Team Members. Make sure you have a list on hand at this step
Pick out the Reviewees (or Project Manager and Team Members)
Click Next to go to the last step
Manage Performance Review Process
Only authorized people with access to the Manage Review can view and manage a new performance review. Please check with your Admin about your role's accessibilities.
Navigate to Performance > Manage Review
Select status In Progress
Click on any review you wish to see
In Assessments, you can see if the Reviewees, Managers, and Peers have completed their assessment. You may also view the submitted responses
Download Performance Results during the Review Period
Navigate to Performance > Manage Reviews
Find and click the performance review you want
Switch to the Result tab. You can download the following:

During the Performance Review Period, results are only for viewing purposes and may be subject to changes after Calibration.
Admins and members with permission to download performance results can view who conducted the manager and peer reviews. However, employees cannot see who did the peer review if the Performance Review is configured to display peers as anonymous.
Close Performance Review
The person who launched the performance review will receive a reminder to close it on the last due date.
Example:
The Self Review schedules to start on 20 Sep 2021 and end on 25 Sep 2021
The Manager Review schedules to start on 20 Sep 2021 and end on 30 Sep 2021
=> Performance Review will end on 30 Sep 2021 (last due date).
Navigate to Performance > Manage Review
Select status In Progress and find the review you wish to see
Click More (or the โฎ icon) and select Close
Confirm again close
๐ Note:
If a Performance Review is not closed on the last due date, employees and managers can still write Self and Manager Assessments.
Closing a Performance Review will generate the final results. Results will be synced to employee profiles and cannot be changed.
View & Download Results of Past Performance Reviews
Navigate to Performance > Manage Reviews
Select status Closed
Find and click the performance review you want
Switch to the Result tab. You can download the following:
Excel files that contain review summary or assessment data of the review
A PDF file for the result
To view in detail, click View Result
To see assessments from the employee, manager, and their peers, click on the Assessment tab

Delete Performance Review
If you create a performance review accidentally or for testing purposes, you can absolutely delete it if the performance review is closed or in scheduled status.
Navigate to Performance > Manage Review
Select the Closed status and find the review you wish to delete.
Click More (or the โฎ icon) and select Delete
Confirm again to delete
