This article explains how to create On/offboarding Templates. These templates will be useful when you need to acquire information and make sure your new employee is prepared even before joining the company.

Before starting, make sure you have access to Checklists Settings. If not, please contact your Admin to request permissions.

Create a Template

  1. Navigate to Checklist > Settings

  2. In the left column, select Onboarding Templates or Offboarding Templates

  3. Click the New Template

  4. Fill in the name and, optionally, a description of the template

  5. Click Create when finishing

Next, click on the new template to start creating tasks for different stakeholders. They will prepare for and assist the new employee on their first or last days at your company.


Duplicate a Template

Using this function, you can duplicate an existing template and the tasks within it. This will come in handy when the new template has some tasks similar to the existing one.

  1. Navigate to Checklist > Settings

  2. In the left column, select Onboarding Templates or Offboarding Templates

  3. Click on More (⋯ icon) and select Duplicate

  4. Enter a name and description (optional) for the duplicated template

  5. Click Save to confirm

📌 Note:

  • The name of a template must be unique

  • Employee Group was moved to Company Settings. Please click the ⚙️ icon and select Employee Group to add new or edit existing groups
